These are the terms for using Get Courted. Using it means you accept them.
The one to actually read is the section on playing, because it is about your body rather than your data.
Get Courted organises open play. Somebody creates a night at a court, shares a link, and the app builds the courts and keeps a competitive ladder from the results.
It is run by Get Courted LLC, a Florida limited liability company. There is no support desk and no guarantee that it will still be here next year. If that changes, this page changes.
Pickleball is physical. People roll ankles, take a ball to the face and pull things. Get Courted does not run the nights, does not own or inspect the courts, does not check whether anybody is fit to play, and is not present when you play.
A host is another player who created a night. They are not staff, not trained and not supervised. Get Courted does not vet hosts and does not vet the people at a night.
You play at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding whether you are well enough to. Get Courted is not liable for injury, illness, or anything lost or damaged at a court.
If you have a medical condition that makes exercise risky, speak to a doctor rather than to this app.
A night happens at somebody else’s court: a club, a park, a facility. Get Courted has no relationship with them, no agreement with them and no say in how they are run.
That place may have its own rules, its own membership and its own waiver. Those are between you and them. Signing a facility’s waiver says nothing about Get Courted, and these terms say nothing about the facility.
Whether a court is safe, open, or booked at all is between the host and the venue. Get Courted does not check.
You must be at least 13.
One person, one account. Use a real name people will recognise on a roster.
Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Get Courted LLC can text you about your spot on a night, and only if you asked it to. There is a box under the phone number field when you set up your profile. It is never ticked for you, and agreeing to these terms does not tick it. Tick it and the texts are about that spot and nothing else: when one opens for you, when it is about to pass to the next person, a reminder to confirm you are still coming, and a reminder on the day itself.
A few messages a week at most. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any of them and they stop. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn the switch off on Your card at any time, or email getcourted7@gmail.com and ask.
Texts are never a condition of using Get Courted. Leave the box unticked and everything works the same; the same messages are in the app either way.

Report scores honestly. The ladder is only worth something if the numbers are real, and a thrown game moves somebody else’s rank as well as yours.
Do not harass anybody, at a court or through this app.
Do not sign up under someone else’s name, and do not create accounts to manipulate a ladder.
Do not attack the service: no scraping, no attempts to reach data that is not yours, no automated sign-ups.
An account doing any of the above can be removed without notice.
Your Rally Rating and rank are calculated by Get Courted from results. They are an opinion about how you play, not a fact about you, and the calculation can change as the system improves.
A rating can be corrected if a night was recorded wrong. Nobody is entitled to a particular number.
Seasons reset the ladder. That is how it is designed to work.
Anybody can host. If you do, you are responsible for having the courts you say you have, for who you let in, and for what happens at your night.
You are not acting for Get Courted, and Get Courted is not responsible for your night.
The service is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, lose data, get something wrong, or stop existing.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Get Courted LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for anything arising out of the service is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Some states do not allow those limits, in which case they apply only as far as that state permits.
Stop using it whenever you like. Ask and your account is deleted, subject to the one limit described in the privacy page.
An account that breaks these terms can be removed.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
If any part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and you are told the next time you open the app.
